Vineyard Management
The goal of the Vineyard2Door VineyardConsultant Application is to allow Wineries to monitor and track the details of their grape-production cycles - both from a fruit-growing and wine making perspective - for the purposes of quality assurance as well as to allow wineries to provide visibility, accountability and immediate tracking data in order to comply with federal/state and local regulations.
In order to accomplish these goals, the Vineyard2Door VineyardConsultant Application will have the following features:
Vineyard Definition Management
The VineyardConsultant Application will allow the winery to create a detailed profile of the vineyard, to the block and row level, which will allow tracking of inventory statistics, seasonal inputs and expense records.
Harvest Management
The VineyardConsultant Application will allow wineries to track and measure each harvest of grapes used in the wine-making process. Each harvest will be checked at various points in its growing cycle to record the expected yield of fruit based on current growing benchmarks. Each harvest will be checked at various points in its growing cycle to record the chemistry of the fruit to determined its readiness for harvesting. Each harvest will have its tonnage both estimated and ultimately recorded for each growing cycle.
Reporting
The Winery and Vineyard Consultant applications will include reporting features including but not limited to:
- Cost Reporting. Each harvest can be cost-analyzed at various levels including: by vineyard, block, harvest, varietal, tonnage, acreage and bottle.
- Harvest Summary Reports. Each harvest can have a complete report details yields, costs, expenses and revenues generated.
- Expense Reports. Expenses can be reported by type and viewed at the vineyard, block, row, lot, vat and gallon or bottle level.
- Regulatory Reports. Each harvest will have a summary report of all of the pertinent details associated with it, to allow at-a-glance review of the vineyard production process to comply with regulatory oversight from federal, state and local authorities.
