Winery Management

The Winery Management application will allow wineries to track and measure each vintage of wine through the fermentation and bottling process. That management and tracking will include, but is not limited to, the following information:

Traceability

Record in-bound grapes by lot, grower, tonnage, etc.

Definition of Vintage

Each vintage produced will have attributes recorded that include, but are not limited to, the following: Varietal, Year produced, Tonnage of fruit utilized, Gallons produced, Miscellaneous notes, Expenses recorded, Bottling material/supply choices, Assignment of vintage into lots and vats.

Definition of Lots

Each vintage will be subdivided into lots , which are then further subdivided into vats for the purpose of fermentation. Each lot will have the following attributes: Vintage, Number of vats, Tonnage utilized per lot, Expenses at the lot-level, Miscellaneous notes.

Bottling Management

Each vintage bottled at the winery will have its attributes recorded, including: Gallons to be bottled, Bottles produced per lot, Number of bottles produced, Bottling expenses, Bottling materials employed, Cost per bottle based on production expenses, and Assignment of bottles to inventory lots for allocation.
