SOLD OUT - This very dark, reddish-purple wine is full of jammy cherries and stone fruits in the nose, which pairs beautifully with significant flavors of spice and smoke along with some tartness, adding liveliness on the mid-palate.

Orginating in Spain, the Tempranillo grape produces rich dark berry flavors full of spice, leather and minerality. The tannins add an expressive dance on the mid-palate and a wonderful long finish without overpowering the rich ripe fruit expressions.

Corrida is styled after the noble wines of Spain. The central ingredient of this wine is the Tempranillo grape, widely regarded as the most revered grape in Spain, only recently available in Washington. 70% Tempranillo, 14% Merlot, 9% Garnacha & 7% Cab.

This well structured wine has aromas of ripe plum,black currents/cherries,and underlying brown spices (cumin,cinnamon,cloves,and hints of white pepper). The black fruits follow through on the palate. Bright acidity combined with silky, layered tannins.
