ABOUT THE WINE
Sur Lie aged, this Chardonnay has deep rich gold color generated from its lifetime in French Oak barrels. Both primary and secondary ferments were performed in barrel - giving the wine a unique richness not found in any of our other white wines. On the bouquet, aromas of honeydew, fresh pineapple, apple pie, butterscotch and honey make the wine irresistible to taste. The palate is soft and creamy from the partial Malo-Lactic fermentation, with some cream and toasty sensations as well. Enjoy out of the refrigerator 20 to 30 minutes or around 52 to 55 degrees. Enjoy now until 2016.
Pairs well with French onion soup, chicken with lemon cream sauce, apple pork chops and garlic shrimp.
