This wine truly shows Blackwood?s Burgundian prejudice, and could easily be confused for a Red Burgundy rather than the Syrah that it is.  Enhanced by an enticing floral nose, this extremely food-friendly wine will complement a diversity of food choices ? meat to cassolette, tomatoes to eggplant, and especially spicy food such as Latin American or Tex-Mex cuisines.  Also, try it with BBQ!
